That news has become less surprising since Ohio State’s full report on the investigation has been released. One aspect of the investigation was what was known between Urban Meyer and his wife, Shelley Meyer. Brett McMurphy’s report alleged that Shelley Meyer had been texting with Zach Smith’s ex-wife about the allegations.Urban Meyer denied at Wednesday night’s press conference having knowledge of the text messages sent to Shelley Meyer from Courtney Smith. Shelley Meyer also said this was the case while speaking to investigators. However, a text message revealed in the investigation does show that Urban and Shelley did at one point converse via text message about Zach Smith. The text message was sent on July 23 to Urban from Shelley.“I am worried about Zach’s response. He drinks a lot and I am just not sure how stable he will be. Afraid he will do something dangerous. It’s obvious he has anger/rage issues already,” the text reportedly said.At 7:35 p.m. on July 23, Shelley Meyer texted Urban, “I am worried about Zach’s response. He drinks a lot and I am just not sure how stable he will be. Afraid he will do something dangerous. It’s obvious he has anger/rage issues already.” Urban did not respond.— Kyle Rowland (@KyleRowland) August 23, 2018Here’s the text message on the report:Yea….Urban Meyer & Shelley Meyer definitely never talked about the images/texts from Courtney Smith.
